Game Rant Blogger: It’s Been A Fun Ride!

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Okay, so it’s been pretty busy here, and it looks like PAX has flooded Twitter with a bunch of news from the gaming industry and a little case of the Swine Flu, and I gotta say it’s been quite a ride since June from: E3 2009, ComicCon, DragonCon, GamesCon, and now PAX and it seems like everyone from EA to Gameloft has something to show…for 2010… :( . But! We still have to remember all the great tiles come out this year! Not many…but I think we’ll survive with games like: Halo 3: ODST, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, etc. And I have to say overall from the Expos, Conventions, Meet and Greats, to Specials (None of which I’m a part of…yet :) ) but I think we’re all tired, not just from the crowded arenas, useless swag, and infinite lines. But from the way news is being announced. I thinks now is the best time for Developers and Titan Companies like: Activision, and EA to come out with more trailers, Dev. Diaries, and gameplay footage. For the past 3 1/2 months we’ve been given news like a concert, watching gaming site’s live feeds over a camera in front of huge crowds, it’s time for companies to feel like they’re showing off their title to one specific person…the gamer watching the new video. I know this is how it is year after year, and I might just be ranting, but that’s all I’m really good at. :)
